Universal Design for Learning (UDL)
Universal Design for Learning (UDL) is a research-based approach to teaching and learning, designing a course for a "universe" of students with different approaches to learning. UDL is in elementary, secondary, and higher education laws.
The video below explains UDL. For accessibility purposes, all text on the screen is read aloud, and all critical images are also described. The "Next Steps" section of this module has suggestions for applying UDL in your courses.
