How to Use this website

This website is designed to be flexible for your needs.  Here are a few basic tips:
  • The navigation bar at the top of the page will always have links to the homepage with the list of modules, the Resources section, FAQs, and Contact Us.

  • You can do the modules in any order.  We recommend everyone does the first three modules, covering basic information about disability, accommodations and faculty legal obligations, and Universal Design.

  • You cannot leave a module and go back to the same place later!  The website does not save your information.

  • Watch for green checkmarks!  They point out important tips.

  • The modules can be useful in a variety of situations.  Modules and resources can be used as stand-alone trainings, in courses with students, for new employee orientations, and other settings.  Just be sure to give the NCCSD credit!

  • At the end of each module are "Next Steps" for people with different levels of prior knowledge.  Consider trying one of these activities to put knowledge into practice.

  • Feedback forms and certificates of completion are available on the last page of each module.  If you complete the brief feedback form, you will be able to request a Certificate of Completion for that module.  Your name and email address will not be saved or shared with others, and cannot be linked to your work in the modules or responses on the feedback form - we take privacy concerns seriously.
